Sizing and Care of Jewelry
Avoid swimming pools, baths, washing dishes, and laundry.
Avoid perfue, hand lotions, salves, hairspray, and chemicals.
Avoid pulling, hitting, and cutting.
Avoid sweat ~ keep your jewelry dry.
Avoid sleeping in your jewelry.
Use a soft cloth to clean using soap and water ~ dry immediately.
Except for pearls, when storing avoid air, it causes tarnishing. Use a Ziploc bag with the air squeezed out to prevent oxidization.
Keep your pearls in a soft organza bag or other pouch that allows the pearls to breath but protects them from rubbing against harder gems and metals.
With your flexible measuring tape, measure just above (towards your elbow), right over the wrist bone, then make sure to add approximately ¼ inch to 1 inch (a ½ inch is average) depending how fitted you want your bracelet to be. That is then the size of the bracelet you would wear.
Take a string or strip of paper and wrap it around the base of the desired finger. Mark the point where the end meets the string or paper. Measure the string or paper on a ruler in millimeters to the point where you marked it. Use the chart to determine your ring size.
